Bespoke crafts and where they fit
Hand-tufted
Complex patterns, custom shapes, layered pile heights
Yarn is punched needle by needle into the backing; wool, nylon, silk and blends can be balanced freely, with shearing and carving for sculpted depth.
Axminster woven
Large uniform areas, high-traffic corridors, pre-function
Yarn is inserted by loom program, giving consistent density, regular widths and the most predictable delivery and reorder cycle.
Hand-knotted
Collector-grade artwork and private residences
Yarn is knotted strand by strand around the warp; production runs in quarters, and comparison or acceptance should rely on physical samples.
Other product lines
- Machine-tufted
- Printed carpet
- Carpet tiles
- Sisal and jute carpets
These categories are also made per project; construction, fibre and density are fixed at the proposal stage.
Craft assigned by zone
Lobby and brand spaces
Original artwork and tactile depth lead — hand-tufted or hand-knotted construction.
Corridors and heavy-traffic areas
High-density weaving leads, balancing abrasion, fire performance and maintenance cycles.
Guest rooms and residences
Wool blends are the engineering default, tuned for underfoot feel and colourfastness.
What a quotation is built from
ADA FLOOR publishes no flat price list; every project is costed from the following factors.
- Area and dimensions
- Pattern complexity
- Fibre and yarn specification
- Density
- Pile-height layers
- Shaped edges and custom forms
- Sampling rounds
- Delivery and installation conditions
Budgets work best when they enter at concept design: material substitution and craft rebalancing protect the key visual effect within the budget. An accurate quotation requires dimensions, artwork, material targets and site conditions.

Specification FAQ
- Why is there no price list on the website?
- Custom carpet pricing is jointly determined by area, pattern complexity, fibre, density, pile-height layers, shaped edges, sampling rounds and installation conditions, so projects of similar type can differ widely. Every project is quoted individually.
- How are fire ratings and density confirmed?
- Construction, fibre, density and fire strategy are specified per zone — lobby, guest room, corridor and ballroom — by traffic and maintenance load. Samples are approved under real lighting and viewing distance before production, and acceptance terms are written into the contract schedule.
- How do I verify a claimed craft?
- Inspect the carpet back, the pile transitions and the process description, and ask for a physical sample. The same pattern can differ several-fold in price between workshops, so comparing samples beats comparing photos.
- How do we get a quotation?
- Send the space type, area, drawings or reference images and target delivery date to adafloor@163.com, or call +86 158 1876 6066. The design team responds with a design direction and material route before sampling and quotation.
